Beaches near Fishguard
We are on the doostep of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with many sandy beaches and intimate coves nearby. Our favourite for sand and sanddunes is Newport Beach which is dog friendly year round. For surf, then Whitesands near St Davids, offers surf school and good surf. Further afield is the expansive stetch of Newgale.
If smaller coves are more your thing then you will be spoiled for choice: We love Cwm-Yr-Eglwys, a beautiful cove tucked in by Dinas head. Usually sheltered and perfect for swimming or Abereiddy – famous for its stunning Blue Lagoon.
Alison and Norman would be delighted to recommend beaches for anyone, families, couples, dog walkers galore!
