FLY FISHING |
The lakes have areas of deep water and shallows where the trout can often be stalked. During summer evenings fish rise to dry flies, as the water temperature drops buzzers nymphs and lures are killer patterns.
The lakes are stocked with Rainbow, Blues and Brown Trout and our policy is to stock with fish no smaller than 2lb.
A good selection of flies and tackle are available from the on-site tackle shop

Yet-Y-Gors is a TroutMasters Water and each month the 3 best catches on the fishery win a TroutMasters badge. all monthly winners also have a chance to qualify for the Grand Final at Graftam Water.

The picture on the right shows Robert Vaughan with a 7lb 2oz Rainbow Trout, Robert likes to enter the TroutMasters Competition and was the Yet-Y-Gors 2006 Fish-off winner to go through to the Final at Grafham Water. The 2007 Fish-off winner was Don Watts and the 2008 winner was Mike Owens.
